Noises could be anything from yelling, loud music, fireworks, horns of all sorts and thunderstorms to name a few! Why Dogs are Afraid of Fireworks, ways to help calm dogs is to muffle the noise close drapes, find a noiseless space for your pet give them a lasting chew toy, so they have an outlet for their anxiety. Remember to choose the right size for your pets! My personal preference is to try calming products first instead of medications, I put a blanket over our dogs ears during fireworks and hug them tight, our dogs really do not like loud noises, it truly can be a win win for the pet and the owner it’s very calming, try it sometime! I did do some research on several noise cancelling products for dogs unfortunately, I did not find anything that looked comfortable enough for a dog or wouldn’t want to make them shake it off! so, what I will try to do is make my own if it works I will share with you all!
